About

Built on experience

We create bespoke kitchens, wardrobes, vanities, laundries and living-space cabinetry for homes in Melbourne and Sydney. Each piece is made to suit your space, with considered materials, practical storage and precise detailing.

Crafted overseas and coordinated by our Australian team, our joinery brings together more than 20 years of experience, carefully chosen finishes and considered construction. We work with homeowners, designers and builders to turn a clear vision into cabinetry made for everyday use.

Family roots, local presence

Anakie Joinery is the Australian branch of HALAM Interiors. Our story began as a family-owned business in Hanoi in 2005, with the Phu Nghia production base opening in 2010. More than twenty years of furniture and joinery experience informs the work we bring to Australian homes.

Our Australian team is based around Melbourne and Sydney, connecting clients and their project teams with the people manufacturing their joinery in Vietnam.

Made around the way you live

We make kitchens, wardrobes, vanities and bespoke furniture, alongside cabinetry for laundries, storage and living spaces. Layout, proportions and internal organisation are considered together, so each piece belongs to its room and supports everyday routines.

Our experience spans individual homes and larger residential projects. We work with homeowners, designers and builders, with the joinery scope and specifications shaped around each project.

Precision with a human touch

Drawings establish dimensions, construction and the relationship between each component. Physical samples give colour, grain and surface finish a shared reference before production begins.

Panel cutting, CNC machining and pressing work alongside assembly, spray finishing and inspection. Machinery supports precision; the people making and finishing the joinery attend to the edges, joints, alignment and movement you see and feel.

Considered choices, lasting relationships

A material is more than its appearance. We consider its intended use, the supporting construction, the details of its edges and the care it will need. Our material collections and Joinery Guide help you compare options before confirming physical samples and technical details.

Our approach is practical and collaborative: clear drawings, considered choices and an open conversation about what will work in the space. We value the relationships behind each project as much as the finished cabinetry.
